General Information
1. The giveaway is hosted by The Phoenix and runs from the 20th of March 2024 until the 2nd of April 2024 (11:59pm), with the prize of free tickets to our digital workshops for an entire year.
How to enter
2. In order to enter, you are required to post a photo or video which captures the experience at one of our digital events and use the hashtag #PhoenixEventsGiveaway.
3. The photo or video can feature you, your child or anyone else who was viewing with you, but you must have the rights to the image. The photo or video can also feature your viewing device or artwork instead of the viewers. As long as it captures your experience of the digital event, it will count as an entry for the competition.
4. Your entry can be posted on an Instagram feed post / reel, on a Twitter/X post or as a comment on the Facebook post about this giveaway.
5. Your post must be public, otherwise The Phoenix will not be able to view it in order to record your entry. Unfortunately, you will not be able to enter if your profile is private.
6. You must be 18+ to enter the giveaway. If you are entering a photo or video of anyone under 18, you must be the parent or guardian of the child in order to give us permissions to use the image.
7. You can opt out immediately from having your images/videos used in marketing by also including the hashtag #OUT. You can also opt out afterwards if you change your mind by emailing our marketing team: [email protected]
8. If you opt out before the end of the giveaway, then your photo or video will not be used in any marketing activity. However, if you opt out of the marketing permissions after the giveaway has ended, this will only impact any new marketing content or materials. We will not be able to change or remove previously published or printed marketing materials after you opt out.
9. Any posts shared before the 20th of March or after the 2nd of April will not be counted. If you want to add the giveaway hashtag to a post that already exists, it has to have been posted within the giveaway time period.
10. Any posts shared on Instagram Stories, Facebook Stories or any other feature that isn’t permanent will not be counted.

Winning and claiming your prize
12. A winner will be chosen at random on the 3rd of April and contacted on the same day by The Phoenix comic, via one of our official social media accounts (Instagram: @thephoenixcomicuk, Twitter/X: @thephoenixcomicuk, Facebook: facebook.com/phoenixcomic)
13. Winners will have up to 30 days to decide if they want to claim their prize. Full instructions of how to claim your prize will be confirmed once the winner has been chosen.
14. The Phoenix will make an effort to contact the winner up to 3 times via social media (contacting the profile that was used to enter the competition). If the prize is not claimed within the listed time frame, another winner will be chosen.
15. To claim the prize, the winner will need to respond to The Phoenix and provide their email address. After this, the free tickets can be claimed whenever needed through the time period of the prize.
16. The prize will include one free ticket for each standard digital workshop from April 2024 to March 2025, including the events that haven’t been announced yet, however excluding any Phoenix Fest tickets. As more standard digital workshops are announced, you will be able to claim your free tickets for those, as long as the event date falls within this time period.
17. Claiming the free tickets will involve following instructions that will be presented to the winner after the end of the giveaway. Although The Phoenix will support the winner in case of questions or issues with claiming the prize, we are not responsible for any missed events due to inaccurately followed instructions.
18. There is no alternative cash value for the prize.
19. Each free ticket covers one device. You can’t use the same ticket for multiple devices but you can have as many viewers as you’d like watching on one single device.
20. If you wish to pass on one or more of your free tickets to another person, it will be up to you to make that happen, as long as you follow the instructions for claiming your prize.
