In part one, we’re going to focus on the building blocks and her face and hair. Start by drawing an oval with a point at the bottom, then add centre lines for facial features. Draw ovals for the eyes, a triangle for the nose, and a curve for the mouth. Finally, add ovals for the ears.
Draw a chunky curved shape for the torso. Use ovals to place the upper arms, and another for the lower arm and semi-circle for the palm. Use sausage shapes for the fingers.
Draw more connected ovals for the other arm and again use sausage shapes for the fingers. Draw half a pair of pants for the pelvis.
Draw overlapping ovals for the legs and a curvy foot shape. Add an upside down vase for the other leg with two semi-circles either side. And finally, add the other foot.
Let's move on to the face and hair. Start with a strong outline and then add her ears. Draw the eyebrows first when drawing the eyes.
Her nose is just three small marks. Make sure the upper lip line is fuller than the lower.
For her hair, start with a choppy fringe. Fill out the fringe from the top centre with chunky lines.
The back of Fawn's head is shaved, so use razor lines. Draw a flowing line for her wispy side bangs.
Add a choppy end to the bangs and then draw back up to the fringe. Repeat on the other side. Add texture to her hair with lines and squiggles and some marks on her cheeks so Fawn doesn’t look too pristine.
