Mastering face angles opens up so many possibilities. Let me show you how to bring characters to life from every angle!
Let's start with the shape of the head from a side angle. Draw a circle. Next, add a triangle. Then, add an eye line and oval for the ear.
Start with the outline of the nose and mouth. Add the eye, then add a mark for the nostrils and upper lip.
Draw a contour line underneath the chin, and finish off the back of the head and ear.
This is where drawing becomes really fun! Let's look at how to draw a face from a 3/4 angle. Draw a circle like before, then add a triangle.
Add an eye line and oval for the ear. Then draw the outline of the face.
Next, add in the eyes and the nose.
Use a simple line for the mouth with a mark for the lower lip, and finish off the back of the head and ear.
