Start with a sharp pointy beak. Draw in the top of the head and then long flowing lines for the neck.
Add the eyes and the outline of the beak and the building blocks are done. As always, don't just trace your guides, and remember to add little details like feathers.
Now, let's learn how to draw the body and wings. To draw a full eagle, start with the head.
Draw an egg shape for the body.
At this stage the legs look like cartoon chicken legs.
Start with the outer edge of the wings and then draw lines fanning off from it. These lines will determine the positioning of the feathers, the tail is just a simple set of lines.
Start on your final drawing. Make your eagle look feathery by adding jagged lines to the neck and legs. When drawing the wings start with the outline and then add small marks inside the wing to hint at lots of feathers, but don't draw every one individually.
